"From the first time I laid eyes on her, I knew she would one day be my wife" We met through a mutual friend. At the time, one of her best friends was dating my best friend. We took a trip to a UK Football tailgate (Roll Tide) and along the way I asked the infamous question, "So do you have any cute friends?" She shows me pictures of Chante and I was instantly awed. She then sends her what we thought was the worst picture of myself to send someone you're interested in. Lol. It must have been enough to get her attention. One night I saw via Snapchat (a social app) that Chante was at Zumba with some friends. I sent a message to her friends phone and told her "she is going to be my wife." Chante took her phone and replied, probably with some smart remark. I asked her could I have her snapchat username, and after many attempts she finally gave in. Yes I called and texted her excessively. Oh well. For the next couple of weeks, I swear she tried to stop talking to me on many occasions. She gave me some super lame excuse about not wanting to talk to me until I was completely freed of all previously relationships. I basically ignored her requests to stop talking to me. Perseverance is key. A few weeks pass by and I find myself a free man (I was honestly a free man at this point). That was enough to convince her to let me take her on a date. We both are fans of brunch food, so we agreed to a date at Wild Eggs Brunch. It was a pleasant Sunday morning. I drove to her house playing "Till it happens to you" by Jaheim on repeat. I pull up to her house, walk to the front door, ring her doorbell, then waited patiently. She opens the door and at that instant, we both greet each other with huge smiles of excitement. It was our first time meeting in person and she looked even prettier in person. We went and had an awesome meal and better conversation. I dropped her off back at home, and as I was driving home I called my best friend and said to him, "I am going to marry this girl."
