Jeff Ballance

Groomsman

The speed at which Jeff Ballance can go from making you cry from laughing to imparting some deep understanding and wisdom on a topic you never really grasped will certainly give you whiplash. He is brilliant, charming, and kind. Even though he may have have hated me at first for having (almost) the same name, I know he always has my back. He has proven that time and again as he has talked me through so many of life's challenges.

Emma Elrod

Bridesmaid

Chi Omega sister, Halloween fanatic, and pop punk activist - Love That! Emma was my most design oriented roommate but shhhh don't tell Geoffrey. Whether you're picking an outfit for a night out in Buckhead or choosing the next boy you'll date, Emma will always be brutally honest. She was one of the many friends who told me how great Geoffrey was before we started dating. If you ask her, she'll probably say she predicted this whole thing about two years ago. Thanks witch.

Allisyn Grantham

Bridesmaid

Through all of the field trips, snow storms, Princess Dance Camps, and shrimp friend rice, we've been there for each other. Ally's perseverance is admirable. Whether it's pursuing her dreams academically and professionally (Just call her Dr. Grantham) or her determination to beat me during a losing streak on our 11th game of monopoly, she's always been up for the challenge. I'm truly fortunate to bumble through life with her.

Garron Harrison

Groomsman

Garron Harrison is the salt that the salt of the earth uses to get in more electrolytes. He is an unwavering rock in every increasingly uncertain world. I hope he one day forgives me for getting him in a car wreck and eating all of his chicken nuggets when we were kids. He honestly should be everyone's brother.

Greg Harrison

Groomsman

This one is hard. How does one describe a tornado full of love and compassion. That isn't a metaphor, Gregory (I will always refuse Greg even if you shouldn't) is a literal force of nature. He carves through the land picking up all those who look for comfort and a home. You couldn't ask for a better big brother.

Millie Johnson

Groomswoman

Millie Johnson was a wealthy duchess with a string of unexplained dead husbands in another life. In this one she is probably one of the best human beings I have ever known. If you aren't already friends with her fix that immediately. She is a large part of why I fell in love with Atlanta after moving here.

Taylor Jolly

Bridesmaid

My favorite travel buddy, LBBG, and best friend from Mercer University. TayJo has always shown me what it means to go after what I want and believe in. Without her, I wouldn't be a functioning adult much less marrying Geoffrey. 10/10 would recommend for drinking red wine and dismantling the patriarchy with.

J. Sam Jones

Groomsman

The voice of our generation, Sam Jones will tear you down with snark only to build you back up stronger than before. Don't let the cynicism fool you, he's a romantic at heart. He is a the other large part of why I fell in love with Atlanta. Also, being his friend means I can claim to be into soccer.

Jacquelyn Kennedy

Bridesmaid

My favorite fellow beach bum and Janis Joplin fan. We met at Mercer in 2014 and haven't stopped texting, calling, snapchatting, and annoying each other since. Without hesitation, Jacquelyn is always there for your crappiest days and to celebrate the highs, both with a little sand and seaquench ale.

Caitlin Loos

Bridesmaid

We shared a room, clothes, toys-- basically everything. The -aitlin to our Carolaitlinaline. Even though we weren't twins it sure felt like it! While we've had our share of ups and downs, I'm so thankful for how our relationship has grown, and we're stronger because of it. I'm excited that she'll be there with me to celebrate adding another Loos to the family! (also thanks for having Margot)

Kelsi Loos

Bridesmaid

The eldest of the Loos sisters, Kelsi was there for me before I was even a thought. She's been my favorite mentor for everything from Zelda to grad school applications. Whether you want to attend a demonstration in Baltimore or just sit at home with some mac n cheese, she's there to support you and dang I'm really grateful for that!

Ben Morales

Groomsman

Ben Morales is the walking, breathing heart of America. No man has a kinder soul and a more beautiful voice. Ben is the kind of person you overlook because he does not demand or need your attention, but when you find him you never let go. Still not sure if I am marrying him or Caroline. (Jk but also maybe not jk)

Jesse Powell

Groomsman

Jesse Powell once climbed the tallest mountain (in GA) and sat on its peaks for 40 days and 40 nights in search of Truth. I am not sure if he ever found it, but I still see him as my guru/life coach and a dear friend. If he makes uncomfortable jokes around you, that is just him saying hello. Roll with it. Also, he is the one who officiated our elopement and I highly recommend him for all your officiating needs.

Melissa Reiter

Bridesmaid

My Atlanta "Reiter Die" (get it?). We were roommates in Macon and took on Atlanta together in 2016. Melissa's love for life, her friends and family, and for herself is unreal. She always knows how and what to celebrate and for that I'm always grateful.

Maggie Sines

Bridesmaid

We chose each other as sisters in high school and haven't left each others side since. Through all of the ups and downs, Maggie has always been there to offer her wisdom and unwavering love for others and life. Last year I got to stand by her when she married the love of her life (Hey Nick!) and I'm so excited that she'll be by me when I marry mine!

Joey Wozniak

Groomsman

This man has been one of my closest friends since 10th grade (we were friends before that just not as close). We bonded over charging zebra cakes to my mom's gas station tab (it's a small town thing). The man he has become since then is nothing short of inspirational. He makes me want to be a better me. As a roommate he forced me to be a cleaner me, but it was worth it for porch time with the boys.
