What time does the ceremony/reception start?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:00 PM at St. Mark United Methodist Church (465 Paxson Avenue, Hamilton, NJ, 08690). Please arrive at the church by 2:50 PM. The ceremony should finish by 3:30 PM. The wedding reception starts at 4:00 PM at Sayen House and Gardens (155 Hughes Drive, Hamilton Square, NJ, 08690), which is a 5-minute drive from the church.

Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Since the wedding ceremony is a religious ceremony, there is no photography allowed during the wedding itself. We ask you to please remain behind after the wedding so we can recreate a few key photos of ceremony events, and to take photos with family and friends in the church hall.

Will there be a cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! Cocktail hour will begin at Sayen House and Gardens at 4:00 PM and last until 5:30 PM, when the wedding reception will begin.

Answer

The wedding reception starts at 4:00 PM at Sayen House and Gardens (155 Hughes Drive, Hamilton Square, NJ, 08690). The cocktail hour will be between 4:00-5:30 PM and the reception is from 5:30 - 9 PM.

Am I invited to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you received an invitation, you are invited to the ceremony and the reception! If you choose not to attend the ceremony, we ask that you meet us at Sayen House and Gardens at 4 PM.

Do I need to choose an entree for the reception?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style so no need to determine what you want to eat in advance! We will have several options to accommodate different food preferences (meat, pasta, vegetarian options). Our caterer also provides gluten-free options. Please inform Carly/Geoff if you require a gluten-free meal or if you have any other dietary restrictions.

Is Sayen House handicapped-accessible? Is there an elevator?

Answer

Yes. The Sayen House is handicapped accessible with a 2-person elevator in the back of the house. Handicapped guests can be dropped off at the back of Sayen House to access the stair-free door and elevator.

You may park in the Sayen Gardens parking lot or along Hughes Drive.
