How We Met

A killer pickup line sealed the deal

We Bumbled, we met, we fell in love! The rest is history. There's actually a lot to our story and how we genuinely feel that God orchestrated all the events, good and bad, in our lives that lead us to finding each other, but the short version is we matched on a dating app called Bumble. On Bumble the girl has to message the guy first, so Jenny used a killer pickup line and caught Geoff's attention, it went a little something like this "If you were ground coffee, you'd be espresso cause you're so fine." We had our first date one snowy Sunday afternoon at a local coffee shop. Since it snowed quite a bit the night before as well as the day of we both thought about canceling the date! Thank goodness we didn't!

The Proposal

01.21.2019

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went to a nice dinner at the melting pot, and then back to Union Station, where a year ago Geoff had asked me to be his girlfriend. This time he asked me if I'd marry him and be his wife! I was completely caught off guard, so when he asked me my throat tightened up and the first thing out of my mouth was a high pitched "REALLY??" followed by many yes' and just like that sitting in Union Station while snow fell outside we were engaged! We love that it was snowing the first day we met, and the night we decided to spend the rest of our lives together! We're so incredibly excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in the mountains!

For all the days along the way
