As the music played, and we swayed to the tunes, Geoff turned to me mid-song with a smile that lit up the night. He said, "I know this is cliche, but do you want to be my girlfriend?" It was a simple question, but it was filled with so much warmth and sincerity. In that moment, surrounded by the magic of the music and the cheering crowd, I couldn't help but say, "Yes!" It felt like the perfect beginning to our journey together. Fast forward to 2023, and Dead and Company announced their final tour. We knew we couldn't miss this opportunity to relive that special night from four years ago. Little did I know, Geoff had something even more magical in store for us. As we walked into the show, the anticipation was palpable. The excitement of the concert was electrifying, and just when I thought the night couldn't get any better, Geoff stopped me. He got down on one knee and asked the most important question of our lives: "Will you marry me?" Surrounded by fellow Deadheads and the undeniable energy of the moment, I was overwhelmed with joy. Of course, I said, "Yes!" Then said get up! It was a proposal as unique as our love story, and it felt like the perfect culmination of our journey from that first concert to this unforgettable night.
