FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Wedding attire should be formal. No jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers. The reception will have a similar dress code, but feel free to wear something slightly more casual than the ceremony if you’d like. There will be about three hours in between for an outfit change if desired. The reception will be on grass, so choose footwear accordingly.

Question

What do I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Plenty! Our wedding is in Maine during peak fall season. It’s the perfect time to explore, go for a walk in one of the local parks, or grab a quick lunch. We’ll be dancing our butts off later, so make sure you eat something.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held in a beautiful high-peak tent on grass. Don’t worry, the tent will have walls and heat, so everyone will be comfortable. 616 Roosevelt Trail, Casco, Maine 0401

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Nothing is impossible, but please reach out to us directly (and in advance) first.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely. This event celebrates love and legacy. The music at the reception will be kid-friendly. Please let us know if you’ll be bringing children and how many so we can accommodate them properly.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are lots of great local hotels, cottages, and Airbnbs. Check out the “Places to stay” link in the navigation for our recommendations.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Not guaranteed. Uber isn’t reliable in our area, and we don’t have public transit. Rental cars are your safest bet. We also encourage guests to carpool, share rides, or arrange shuttles, especially for the reception. Parking is limited on our property.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony 20–30 minutes early to be safe. There will be a gap between the ceremony and the reception. Our property (where the reception is) will be open if you’d like to hang out in the meantime. Just keep things tidy and don’t rearrange the setup.

Question

What’s the weather like in October?

Answer

Southern Maine usually has cool, crisp days in the mid-50s to low 60s, and nights in the 30s and 40s. Bring a sweater or light jacket just in case.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yes, but the best gift of all is seeing your beautiful face on our wedding day... Or cash.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is a time to be present. Please keep your phones off during this part.

Question

Who can I contact if I have more questions?

Answer

Email us at geovanie2994@gmail.com. If you’re invited, you probably have one of our numbers too.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, but it's limited. We have a parking lot that should fit most cars.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Join us for the reception with food, drinks, music, and plenty of memories.

Question

Will there be dinner and drinks?

Answer

Yes. It’s buffet style with plenty of snacks and appetizers in the tent. When you’re ready for your entrée, head to the food table for lots of options.

Question

What kind of food or drinks can we expect?

Answer

Lemon rosemary chicken breast, grilled salmon, grilled vegetables, pasta, rice, salads, plus plenty of fruit, cheese, and snacks!

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

10:30 p.m.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony indoors. Reception outdoors.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer
