What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please ensure that you arrive NO LATER THAN 3:45 so that you can take your seat and get settled! If you arrive later than 4:00, you will not be able to enter the private beach area where the ceremony will be held.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

As our wedding will be taking place at the beach, our dress code will be fairly casual (within the realm of dress shirts/slacks, sundresses, etc. - depending on the weather). However, we do ask you to refrain from wearing jeans/shorts. We also ask that you refrain from wearing white/cream or dark green clothing. P.S. - Please be prepared to walk on sand to get to your seat for the ceremony. If you are more comfortable removing your shoes, we will have a shoe drop at the entrance to the ceremony space.

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having a professional photographer capturing our special day, so we ask you to refrain from using your phones during the ceremony (unless otherwise instructed). However, please take as many photos and videos as you want during the remainder of the day, so that we can capture as many memories as possible!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to size constraints for our venue, we are only allowing select guests to bring a plus one to our wedding. You will be notified if you are able to bring a plus one when you begin the RSVP process on our website!

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all of the little ones in our families, we will not be having young children at our wedding. Thank you for your understanding, and enjoy your date night!

Am I able to stay on LBI overnight?

Answer

Of course! We have a block of rooms reserved at the Shell, and there are plenty of hotels to stay at along the island, as well. Please see the "Hotel and Booking" portion of our website for additional information.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The cocktail hour and reception will feature a top-shelf open bar! However, the venue will switch to a cash bar at 9:30pm, when the after-party begins. P.S. - if you would like to grab a drink before the ceremony, you can always stop at the Tiki Bar, which is located right next to the pool area!

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Our reception will end at 9:30pm, and will immediately transition into our afterparty, which will be held in the same space until 11:30 PM. For additional information, please see the "Schedule" section of our website.
