We Cannot Wait to Celebrate!

One sunny day in June, Amanda walked into Ace Hardware to pick up a kiddie pool for her nephews. Of course Paul was waiting, unknowingly, to meet his future wife. They locked eyes and Paul knew right then and there that he had to talk to her. Through the small conversation they had in the store, Amanda was smitten. Secretly, she hoped he would ask for her number. But alas, he didn’t. A few days later he finally reached out and the rest is history 😉

Amanda fortunately (unfortunately?) wasn’t working at the time due to the pandemic so she had endless time to give to get to know Paul. He still had to work but he made time for Amanda. They spent countless dates just hanging out lakeside by lake Nockamixon talking until it got dark, moonlight shining on their faces. They took many car rides to no where, just enjoying each other’s company. Finally, August 10 2020, Paul asked Amanda to be his girlfriend. Fun fact for ya: Paul said I love you first! ❤️

Amanda was completely oblivious! She has no idea it was coming. Obviously, she knew he was looking at rings but she could not have been more surprised. Luckily, she bought a pretty dress and a nice pair of shoes for her daughters baptism. Julienne even wanted to get mani/pedis together, but Amanda thought it was all just because there was going to be a big party after. She was so caught up in setting up the party, doing her hair, getting Rosalia ready that she didn’t notice how nervous Paul was the whole time. They even joked at the party about when he was going to propose! Little did Amanda know that he had the ring safely tucked away. He was nervous, sweaty, slightly freaking out since he was about to ask the biggest question of his life… And she said YES!! (Duh). Fun fact for ya: Paul almost dropped the ring! He had it in his pocket, holding it with his pinky when Amanda’s dad told him to take his hands out of his pockets.
