Are you registered? Where?

Are kids welcome?
Answer
No. This is an adult wedding and drinking will be involved. Please do not bring kids.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Unless your date is already on the invitation, please do not bring a date. We cannot accommodate any other people. Our wedding is crafted for a specific number of people and bringing extra people can skew that.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, it is semi-formal. Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

What time is every event?

How can I get to your venue?
Answer
If you aren't staying at the host hotel or coming from your own home, you can ride Uber/Lyft, scooters, the Lynx train, and drive to our hotel. It's very easily accessible for any mode of transportation. The address is 303 S Church St, Charlotte, NC 28202.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, only valet parking is available at the hotel. It is $17 on the day of our wedding. If you are staying at the hotel, it's $34 a night. There are garages and surface lots nearby that offer parking. There's also street parking.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Yes! There's an after-party planned at Merchant and Trade, the rooftop bar on top of the Kimpton. If you want to join us, come on! This is a come as you please event, so there's no obligation. The after-party will start after the ceremony ends. This is also subject to changed based on COVID guidance.

What's the weather like this time of year?
Answer
North Carolina makes its own rules for weather no matter what month it is. Usually, around this time, it's very warm if not hot! Definitely pack comfortable clothing if you intended to go out and about around town. We have plenty of fun things for you to do here:

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both events are indoors. They will be located on the third floor of the Kimpton Tryon Park.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No, unfortunately, we will not have transportation to and from the hotel. If you chose to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte Airport, there is a shuttle that will take you to the airport.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes, we encourage everyone to post pictures on to their social media channels. We only have two requests. 1. please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MorganGotCoreyedAway so we can keep track of all of your pictures and 2. please don't get in front of the professional photographers when taking a picture!
