What should I wear?

Answer

The attire theme is country elegance. The bride and groom want all their guests to be comfortable and dressed their best! You are welcome to wear your best cowboy boots and hat. The ceremony and reception are indoor/outdoor so plan to dress for the weather.

What should I expect at the reception?

Answer

It will be open seating with some tables reserved for the wedding party and close family. Bean City Ballroom has a beautiful concrete patio with hammocks and egg chairs making it a perfect place to rest while dancing the night away with the bride and groom. Inside there is air conditioning. We will have a tent set up by the patio.

Is there going to be a fireworks display?

Answer

Absolutely! The show will start after dusk.

Is there a place I can stay overnight at the venue or nearby?

Answer

There are several hotels in the surrounding area. There is a wedding block at AmericInn at 1404 N Shawano St, New London. Mention Heideman/Genske Wedding for discounted rate. If you have a camper that you would like to bring to Bean City please contact the bride or groom. Space is limited.
