Things to Do If you’re arriving early, you’re in luck! The Salmon Derby takes place the weekend before our wedding. If you can make it out on a boat, you it’s a fun way to experience Juneau’s sport fishing scene. If you don't make it out on a boat, you can still see some of the action from the harbors. There are also plenty of great walks and hikes around town. Some of our favorites include Mount Juneau, East Glacier Loop, and Mount Roberts. If you’re looking for something a little more relaxed, there’s still lots to enjoy! Spend an afternoon wandering around downtown Juneau and stop by a few of our favorite spots. See map below.
