Joe and Genn first met while studying at the University of Rhode Island in 2015. Their paths intertwined in their love for the ocean, water, food, and the sciences. They would share stolen glances across the room at parties or see each other on campus, but it wouldn’t be until 2018 that those stolen glances turned into something more. From there, their relationship and adventures began with friends commenting on how they made perfect sense together. They moved in together in 2020, bought their first property in 2021, and bought their first home in 2022. In 2023 they added their first addition to their family with their cute fluffy cat, Gizmo, and a year later they welcomed their puppy Piper into their home. Joe and Genn match each other's energy, whether they are hanging out on the boat or going on their next adventure. They have gone camping on an island, snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park, and snorkeling in Hawaii to name a few. They went scuba diving and enjoyed St. Kitts and Nevis together where Joe popped the question in 2024. They are so excited to move into the next chapter of their lives together and are looking forward to where the future takes them.
