Before arriving to Bali, check with your accommodation if they include an airport pick up service or if it can be arranged additionally. It may cost more than a taxi, but it’ll be well worth it and will help to avoid any confusion and stress of haggling down Mr Taxi. There is the option to arrange a Grab or Go-jek (Indonesian version of Uber) when you arrive here. The trick with this is to make sure you have internet as they are internet based apps on your phone. These transport services are super handy to have while you’re in Bali too, so regardless it would be a good thing to download the apps before you arrive and for you to use to get around easily and more cost effectively. If you’ve just chosen to go the taxi route, we suggest going with Bluebird Taxi as they are still the most reliable on the island. To give you a starting point, an average fare to Seminyak is between IDR 100,000 - 150,000 from the airport. For Canggu you could be looking at anywhere between IDR 150,000 - 250,000 depending on how far into Canggu you need to go.
Travel Note
For all guests travelling to Bali, a Visa on Arrival is required. This is paid for at Denpasar airport and the cost is around 500,000 IDR. ($50/29.5€)
