They met after a materials lab one evening when a certain classmate, wearing cowboy boots and a golf visor, approached another to ask for her phone number (you know, in case she wanted to study together sometime.) For good measure, he also gave her his school email address ...ChanTheMan@tamu.edu. Somehow the email address and visor didn't scare her off (too much), and instead, what began that day would become her absolute favorite love story.

As a gift for Christmas, Chandler had written me a script for a Hallmark Movie - starring US! As if that wasn't sweet enough, he told me he had planned for a friend to come video us acting it all out! That day of "filming" we laughed through most of our lines, fumbled with props, and at the last location for the very last scene, instead of taking me in an embrace, he dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. I was stunned. Through tears, and with my whole heart, I said "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Irving!
