Kathy Klimentowski
Best Woman
Since meeting in college, Kathy has been a floor mate, co-worker, roommate, and creative partner to Sarah and Nick. A member of the Dream Team at Espresso Royale Cafe and she's co-founder of Sobotka Literary Magazine, Kathy has been an integral part of Sarah and Nick's circle since their college days, and they couldn't imagine life without her.
Carl Stream
Best Man
The man, the myth, the radnerd. Nick and Carl first met over the machine at Espresso Royale in Urbana, bonding over thrifted hats and music. After both moved to Nashville separately but nearly simultaneously in 2014, they became fast friends then roommates, known best for their penchant for talking too fast and laughing too loud but always being around for a good time. After moving back to Chicago, Carl lived with Nick and Sarah for bit, always keeping the house full of great beer and conversation.
Tara Servello
Maid of Honor
After spending many a night at the Servello house, Nick and Sarah became friends with Tara. She helped convince Sarah to go to nursing school, they were roommates in Nashville, and now lives down the street from the couple in Bridgeport. A litmus test for a dumb idea and constant source of laughter, she's a good friend and invaluable Vine guide.
Matt Servello
Man of Honor
Probably the only kids equally as into baseball, bizarre jokes, and math rock breakdowns in high school, Matt and Nick became best friends between classes and cruising around the south suburbs before living and learning together in college. Many an Orland Square Mall trip, Mickey's forty, and hilarious (and heartfelt) moment has been shared over the years.
Ashley Skowronski
Maid of Honor
Ashley met the couple back in high school, as she shared more than a few classes with both Sarah and Nick. Although she was way cooler than them in high school she was willing to become roommates with Sarah through college :) She moved down to Nashville after law school and after many adventures she is now back in Chicago having stayed good friends with both Sarah and Nick throughout the years.
Eric Benick
Man of Honor
A creative partner and emotional touchstone, Eric and Nick have been challenging, comforting, and commiserating with one another since meeting at a reading in Nashville in 2016. From that seed grew Ursus Americanus Press and a friendship that has fortified both in recent years, like an extra shot of gin in a cocktail or the second guitar on a Thin Lizzy track.
Lynn Rossi
Groomswoman
Younger sister of groom, Lynn has long been Nick's coconspirator (and victim) for childhood shenanigans and growing pains. As they've grown, she's become closer to the couple and the rest of the wedding party, a frequent companion for grill outs and city nights. She's long had to deal with her brother and now she gets to have the sister she never had!
Michael Brassea
Groomsman
Always reliable for some fresh slang or a flamezini take, Michael and Nick grew closest when they were farthest apart geographically. Notorious for goading each other to the next level, being around these two together can be a barrage of word play, in jokes, and conversation transmutation. At the end of the day, they're just happy to be there.
Kelly Pompea
Bridesmaid
Kelly is cousin to the bride and has been an appreciated friend outside and inside of the many family gatherings throughout the years. Growing up she was a great sport playing the pet game with her and Joel, and has become a dear friend to both the bride and groom.
Jim Wallace
Groomsman
A fellow University of Illinois graduate and teacher, Jim met Nick in college but bonded from afar during their first years working in separate cities. When he moved down the street in Bridgeport, Jim joined the couple in the basement for band practice and on neighborhood adventures. A master of the bad pun and self-aware levity, he's been a great friend for a laid back afternoon or a late night conversation.
Danielle Genis
Bridesmaid
Danielle is sister in law to the bride and has been a wonderful addition to the family! Now mother to Kas, Sarah can't wait to have video game and movie nights with her nephew and sister :)
Dan Genis

Danny is older brother to the bride and has always been there for her to goof around with and to teach her about cars. Growing up they had many a good time playing video games and going on fishing adventures together!
