For a Cambodian wedding, guests should wear smart casual to formal attire, prioritizing modest, colorful, and festive clothing. Women often wear bright silk dresses, skirts, or traditional outfits, while men typically wear dress shirts with trousers or slacks.

Early Morning Sacred traditional ceremonies     • Hair-Cutting Ceremony     • Monk blessings     • Procession of gifts Late Morning → Early Afternoon     • Parents’ blessings     • Seven-Turn Ceremony     • Wrist-tying (Sompeas Ptem) Afternoon Break (2pm-6pm)     • Light meal     • Outfit change     • Photo sessions     • Short nap if you’re smart What Guests Should Know     • You may not attend every ceremony, and that’s completely normal.     • Arriving early matters for morning ceremonies, as they begin promptly.     • Modest attire is appreciated during daytime ceremonies (covered shoulders and knees).     • You may be invited to tie a string on the couple’s wrists — simply offer a kind wish.     • Do not remove wrist strings immediately; they are meant to be worn for a few days.
