On the night of the Medina Career Center graduation in 2016, Genevieve was taking pictures with friends from the public safety class. Jason was standing there, with his friends. She went up to him and asked for a picture, they never exchanged names or phone numbers, and they went their separate ways. Two weeks later at one AM, Jason and Genevieve’s path crossed again at Steak and Shake. Jason asked for her number so he could receive the picture that was taken of them at graduation. They became best friends over the summer of 2016, and on June 13th, Jason asked Genevieve to be his girlfriend.

Jason Lavelle is a paramedic in Cleveland, he enjoys playing pc games and reading comics. Genevieve Mehok is a middle school paraprofessional while also attending school to earn a Master of Education in school counseling, she enjoys crafting (not very well!) and musicals. As a couple they go to movies often together, see D.C films and shows, comedy, and try new experiences together. In their house, they also have four rescue animals, two dogs and two cats named; Jackson, Zod, Kitty, and Beanman!
