We're getting married!

We first met as kids—he was 14, I was 12—watching a middle school volleyball match. It was one of those moments that didn’t feel big at the time, but looking back, it was the very beginning of everything. We started talking more and more, finding easy comfort in each other’s company, until he went off to high school and life gently pulled us in different directions. For a while, we lost touch. But life has a way of bringing the right people back together. When he was 16 and I was 14, the summer before I started high school, we reconnected—and it was like we had never missed a beat. Even though we were attending different schools, we spent that summer making up for lost time: hanging out, grabbing food, and falling into a rhythm that felt natural and exciting all at once. Something just clicked. Then came the moment that truly started our story: in June of 2016, over my favorite snack—Oreos—he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes, of course. By my sophomore year, I transferred to his school, and from that point on, we’ve been side by side. Since then, we’ve built a life together piece by piece. We celebrated our 7th anniversary with the most perfect surprise—our engagement in June of 2023. A year later, in June of 2024, we bought our first home and began filling it with memories, laughter, and the joy of raising our beautiful daughter, Amelia, who will be 20 months old on our wedding day. Now, our wedding will fall during the same week we celebrate ten incredible years together—a full decade of growth, love, friendship, and partnership. From a middle school to a lifetime of love… we can’t wait for this next chapter.
