I met Yemi in the fall of 2018, in a small town of Johnson City in East Tennessee. We were both first-year students in our Master’s of Public Health program. Uniqueness has a way of standing out from the ordinary and this was Yemi from the moment we met all those years back. Determined, Industrious, honorable, loyal, Intelligent, God-fearing, just to mention a bit about Yemi’s character. I was always blessed to be in his circle of friends. The road trips, late-night studying, cookouts, family time, and long phone call conversations have all led us to this moment now. Watching my brother give his heart and love to the love of his life, Genesis. May this be the Genesis of a love unending

I first met Yemi back in medical school. He being a staunch Manchester United FC fan and I, an Arsenal FC supporter were always at loggerheads. We later found common interests, including playing chess, playing soccer e.t.c. I am always amused by his versatility and his gentle demeanor. I remember Yemi calling me late one weekend that he had just met a girl, and that he just knew she was going to be his wife. I am very excited to have been part of this history and to celebrate the love that they share. I wish them abundant blessings and pray that they both enjoy sparkling moments forever.

I’ve known Genesis for 7years through a mutual friend. Genesis's acceptance of me as a friend was very warm and welcoming even though we were still learning one another at that time. I love how she exudes radiance and peace, especially from her smile. Through the years we would see each other at occasions until I realized her best friend (maid of honor) was one of my amazing friends I know our relationship would be sky-high. She is absolutely one of a kind she is a giver, a friend, an amazing nurse, a sister, and now a wife. I know you will be a great wife to your husband. I met Yemi in church and we both belong to the media department. My favorite memories with him include: attending church men’s program together, series of house parties , playing football together, surfing together, we party together mostly including Genesis, had boat cruise together and had fun in many special ways . Going through the ups and downs of being a foreigner in this very expensive state of California, I came across many characters & was fortunate enough to meet Yemi. We share a gang of acquaintances & mutual friends who used to meet at “the bachelor pad” in Los Angeles, have fun & catch vibes. Almost immediately Yemi stood out to me as we think alike & he was the calm one of the group. We’ve had many brainstorming sessions even till this day, that’s how we became friends then brothers.
