We’re getting married!

We met our senior year of high school in Michigan. In the first month of school an event known as Harvest Hike creates a connection between folk. So all the girls in our friend group asked the guys and this was just a friendly hang out. However on that walk Jio had turned around and told our friends “I’m going to marry this girl”. A small ‘hike’ started off a deeper connection and friendship that then bloomed. We auditioned for the worship band known as Sound and that became a place to explore hobbies we both enjoyed. Jio pretended to need help in math and I pretended to understand all the drum lessons he gave me and well with each joke, each song, each deep conversation brought out the love we hear all about. A love that challenges you, heals, and strengthens you. And now here we are! Creating an everlasting tie between our two lives. <3
