Gowtham proposed during a memorable trip to Banff, Canada, while canoeing on the breathtaking blue waters of Lake Moraine. Over the past several months, he and Jen have cherished the time spent getting to know each other’s families and deepening their faith together through premarital Bible courses lovingly led by Jen’s dad, Manuel. As their love for one another has grown, so too has their closeness to the Lord. They are joyfully looking forward to beginning this new chapter of life hand in hand, heart in heart, and with Christ at the center of their marriage. ......................................................................................................................................................................... With our blend of Indian, Mexican, and American heritage (and with both of our families being located in different parts of the world), we have chosen to forgo a traditional wedding and instead have an intimate elopement in the lush rainforest of Bali this Christmas season, with our parents by our side. While we won’t be able to have everyone with us on the day, we are excited to celebrate together at future gatherings.
