Love Is In The Air

After Christmas festivities, what better way to unwind than heading to the movie theater with a group of young adults to see the final Star Wars movie. At least that was the plan.. Last-minute, the majority of the group had to cancel and they left one newly dating couple and one Genesi and Dariusz to attend this accidental double date. Both practically strangers, had a 45-minute car ride in which they hoped would not be driven in awkward silence. To their pleasant surprise, the chemistry and charm filled the car with banter, excitement, and most of all comfortability. It was as though they had known each other a lifetime. Dariusz being the perfect gentleman, picked up Genesi from her door, gave her a belated Christmas gift of chocolates, insisted on paying for her ticket and snacks, then dropped her off exactly where he picked her up - TALK ABOUT SMOOTH! Genesi, stunned and thinking over all the ways she was going to tell her parents that this WASN’T a date, and how she barely knew him, couldn’t help but notice a new budding attraction - he had caught her eye, her mind, and had just begun to catch her heart. Later that night, he asked for her father’s number so he could get to know her the proper way. Who would have thought, that both of their geeky love for Star Wars, would lead them to their happily ever after?
