FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to dress semi-formal while still keeping comfort in mind, as it will still be warm that first weekend of September. For men, a button-up is perfect (tie optional), but please no jeans. For women, dresses or dressy separates are perfect! Since both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors—including a short walk along a trail between the two—we recommend dress shoes or boots for men, and flats, wedges, or block heels for women.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! We will have small activities to keep them having fun. Please be sure to include the number of children attending in your RSVP.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a traditional registry. We are very grateful to have everything we need, but if you would like to gift us in some way, we have a “family fund” you can donate to instead to help us as we grow our family in the coming years.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer capturing our ceremony so everyone can be present as we make our vows before God. However, during cocktail hour and the reception, you’re encouraged to take photos! We’ll have QR codes on the tables so you can easily upload any pictures you capture. We’ll also have camcorders available - please feel free to pick one up and record a few moments from your perspective.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the front of the property. You will park inside the gravel loop and then walk up the drive to the barn when you arrive.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by July 1st so we can plan accordingly!
