We met halfway across the world in March 2019 in Boracay, Philippines. What started as a simple hello on vacation quickly turned into something special. Gen was traveling with her cousin, and Kenny was there with friends, and from the very beginning, we felt an instant connection. After talking, dancing, and wandering the beach, we realized that despite meeting abroad, we actually lived just hours apart back home in California. For two nights in a row, we stayed up until the sun came up talking about life, our dogs (Gizmo and Grizzly), and everything in between. When the trip ended, the connection didn’t. Once we were back in the States, Gen came to Sacramento to visit Kenny and see where things might go, and the rest is history. Last Halloween, we welcomed our twin girls into the world. What began as a vacation encounter turned into a lifetime, and we can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter with all of you.
