Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the venue, we are only able to accommodate those who are named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children involved in the wedding due to venue capacity.

Question

Is there parking/transportation provided?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is a small parking lot in the back of the church, as well as ample street parking. For the reception, The Ivy House has a parking lot that can be utilized by guests. You are able to leave your car there overnight, but all cars need to be removed from the parking lot by 10am the next morning. Answer

Our ceremony will be beginning at 2pm sharp. Please plan to arrive at the venue no later than 1:45pm so that we are able to start on time.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a phone free zone! We have hired the most incredible photographer to capture our day and we would love for everyone to be unplugged during that time to be present with us. Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like after the ceremony and during the reception!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that all of our guests dress in cocktail attire. Bright colors and patterns are encouraged, but not required! We ask that guests please avoid wearing denim. Please feel free to text Gen with any questions!

Both our ceremony and reception will take place indoors. There will be an outdoor patio at the reception with a full bar and yard games. For those who may choose to spend time outside, please plan to dress accordingly for the weather.

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

This is the perfect time to explore Milwaukee! We recommend popping over to a bar or restaurant in the area and having a light drink or snack. Here are some of our favorites that are between the church and reception venue: -Central Standard -Swingin’ Door Exchange -Milwaukee Public Market -Cafe Benelux -The Wicked Hop -Tiki Bar -Camp Bar Third Ward
