I’m Jacob Zorehkey, best man! I am a theatre nerd and love diving deep into my passions for writing, gaming, Dungeons & Dragons, history, and exploring religious and mythological narratives. I am very excited to be part of this wedding party and have known Mikil and Genae since high school. There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing one of my closest friends getting married and getting to experience this moment with them!

I first met Genae and Mikil when Lavelle participated in a community production of The Color Purple the musical. We have since gone on to be close friends. I think fondly of the many cook outs and movie watch parties we have shared. We had a great time seeing Wicked part 1 in the cinema together. I look forward to their future union and wish them the best.

My first experience with Mikil was carpooling with him and Jacob to church on Wednesday! We would stop at Little Caesars, raising our cholesterol one bite at a time. Through countless Minecraft and DnD sessions over the years, I've gotten to know both the bride and groom quite well. I’m happy to be a part of this experience for the next stage of their lives and the adventure they will embark on along the way.

Mikil is my cousin we grew up together. Genae, I can’t really remember when I met her. She's been here for as long as I can remember lol. My favorite memory with Mikil is playing BB guns in our grandmother’s backyard. Fun times.

I met Mikil at a casting call for a musical I wrote. He ended up playing my best friend in the show and ever since he’s been a big part of my life. I have yet to do a show with Mikil where he has yet to not hurt himself moments before we open a show. After careful review I have determined that Mikil and I were separated at birth years apart. But seriously, he is like a brother to me and I couldn’t be happier for him and Genae!
