Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we do wish we could celebrate with everyone, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

The RSVP deadline is Sunday, January 9 2022. Please RSVP online at www.zola.com/wedding/gemsareforever

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

We will miss you! At this time, we have no plans to stream our wedding celebration.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Temperatures in the late afternoon and evening can be chilly, so plan to bring a jacket or coat!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 4:15pm. The ceremony will begin on time.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at the same venue - 1618 Ohms Way Costa Mesa, CA 92627.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

A valet service at the venue will be provided.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses! It may be chilly, so bring a jacket or coat. Please refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Please let us know your meal preference as well as any dietary restrictions as soon as possible, so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.

Will we need to wear a mask?

Answer

We are currently following our venue guidelines and CDC recommendations. Due to a recent increase in cases, CDPH has mandated that everyone in California wear a mask in indoor public spaces and workplaces. The order is in effect December 15, 2021 to January 15, 2022. Since our event occurs after this date, we will continue to monitor guidelines and recommendations and keep you informed.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We request an unplugged wedding ceremony, meaning no phones, iPads cameras, etc. We request that you be fully present with us! Otherwise, for the cocktail hour and reception, YES! We encourage guests to post pictures onto their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #gemsareforever so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Answer

Kindly check on our RSVP page if you've been invited to other wedding events during the weekend.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. Cocktail Hour and Reception will be held indoors.

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in the area?

Answer

What airports are located in the area?

Answer

Airport options are John Wayne Airport (SNA), Long Beach Airport (LGB), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Ontario International Airport (ONT), and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP).
