We're so excited to celebrate the special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited can be accommodated at the wedding reception.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we would like for our reception to be an adult only celebration, we completely understand there will be families with their children amongst our friends. We have extremely reliable local babysitters - many of whom are trusted teachers - are available on the island that we will happily organise for you at our cost. But, if this is something you are not comfortable with and your little one ends up joining the dance floor, we'll welcome them with open arms and happy feet.

What is the weather like in November

In November, Hamilton Island experiences warm and humid weather, marking the beginning of the wet season. Average daytime temperatures range from 24°C to 30°C, with high humidity levels. Rainfall increases during this month, so occasional showers are possible. It’s advisable to wear lightweight, breathable clothing and to be prepared for sudden rain showers.

Wedding Attire

Coastal elegance with an Island twist. Dress to feel beautiful, breezy, and ready to dance beneath the palms. Linen suits, summer dresses, light silks, and soft hues are warmly welcomed. Men are welcome to wear chino style shorts with button up shirts, the lighter the clothing the better for all. Ladies we suggest light material, nothing thick, and as much as we all want our flowing locks, the humidity and heat will eventually get to you so come prepared. Some celebrations will be on grass.
