We met as colleagues in 2018 and quickly became work friends. Gemma's last day at the company happened to be the company holiday party and one thing led to another and their romance was born. Since that infamous party, our love has grown and we have enjoyed many shared interests and have introduced each other to new ones. Much of our shared passions revolve around live music, good food, spending time with loved ones, being in nature, and traveling. Matthew is now an outdoor enthusiast and Gemma enjoys sci-fi and has seen all the (relevant) Star Wars movies. 2020 was a crazy year, we survived moving in together, raising Jackson, and lots of quarantining. In 2021, we decided to put all our belongings into storage and embrace nomadic living. Two weeks before this big life change, Matthew proposed on a beautiful hike overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Of course, Jackson stole the show by digging a hole at Gemma’s feet while Matthew tried to keep his composure. We loved the following weeks celebrating with friends and family before embarking on our big adventure. We've had a blast exploring new cities, realizing we’re amateur foodies, and spending many weekends in the mountains hiking, floating, and paddleboarding. Our next big adventure will be moving to Portland in 2022! We're so excited to share our love story with you all and look forward to celebrating with you on our big day!
