At least by April 2026.
For the civil ceremony it would be best to drive or car pool with another guest as it is just out of town. For the Hindu ceremony there is free parking at the base of the resort. There will be a shuttle service provided for those who are not driving that will pick you up from your accommodation to take you to the base of the resort from there you will have to take the gondola up. Gondola tickets will be provided. The shuttle service will also be provided to take you to your accommodation at the end of the night. There are also two taxi services in town. Howard's Taxi and Johnnies Taxi. Which can help you get to either event.
Yes, we have a group block with the Sutton hotel. See the travel tab for more info and click the link to book your stay.
Anything apart from red during the Hindu wedding, otherwise whatever you feel like.
For the civil wedding think summer dresses and blazerless suites. Hindu ceremony will be a mash of Bollywood glam and black tie. Think colorful lehenga's, sarees and red carpet dresses for the girls. For the boys what else apart from a classy suite or maybe even a kurta if you want to embrace the culture.
Firstly remember that the bride wears red at the Indian wedding. Secondly here are some website you can explore. https://www.kalkifashion.com/ https://www.lashkaraa.com/ https://www.mymoledro.com
There is a brief description of both ceremonies on the schedule page.
Civil wedding - Think British tea party. Sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, pastries, salads etc... Hindu ceremony - Traditional Indian vegetarian food will be served after the Hindu ceremony. Reception - To be confirmed but most likely western and Indian fusion.
Yes, both venues are wheelchair accessible.
Yes, there will but the venue remains ours for the whole day. Feel free to hit the bar or explore the resort during that time. Girls - there is a changing room provided if you wanted to switch up your attire for the reception.
