Brandon and Kaylee met through a mutual friend when they were eighteen. They first met in passing at a show Kaylee was in. A few months later, their paths crossed again at a hangout. Once they got to know each other here, they were inseparable. They had an immediate connection, bonding over their love of theatre, music, concerts, and tv. They lived in Alma together and then eventually moved to Fayetteville, where they now call home. Along the way, they've gathered a little family of animals. Rosie, their dog they rescued in 2017, and Nami and Ella, who Kaylee already rescued prior. Brandon and Kaylee recently rescued a crazy tabby kitten named Venus, adding another family member in 2025.
Brandon, Kaylee, and Hallee took a trip to Philbrook Museum in Tulsa. Little did Kaylee know, Brandon would be proposing in one of their favorite spots to go as a couple. Hallee brought along a film camera to capture the moment, unbeknownst to Kaylee. Kaylee kept telling Hallee to take pictures of the cats in the gardens, various artwork, etc. With only one roll of film, however, Hallee was getting anxious that they'd run out. Thankfully she was able to capture the moment it happened and the nervousness in Brandon's face was very clear. This picture is included on the gallery page and below.
