They met via Tinder, like most Millenials these days. Emily saw Gemini and swiped right immediately. They were inseparable from that day forward. He will joke and say she kidnapped him (which I am sure he will mention many times at the wedding), but they had an instant connection and have formed a love neither one of them ever imagined possible. Five months after they met they left Colorado and headed south to Florida. This gave Gemini a chance to meet Emily's family. A few months after that new was received that they were going to be parents. Neither of them thought they would be able to have children based on their prior life events, but in July of 2019 they were blessed with their son Bellamy Billington. Gem and Em lived in the "city" for about a year while she worked for a non-profit and Gemini worked for an assembly company. Bellamy would go to work with her every day. After a year of working on their credit and saving as much as they could, they were able to purchase their first home. It's a beautiful 2 acre property with a three bedroom home that is close to nothing. Seriously, it's 30 min. from everywhere. In late 2020 they realized that Florida was too hot, too muggy, and too buggy for them so they took off back to Colorado with baby in tow. They enjoyed being in Colorado and living near their friends, but realized that family is important as well and moved, again, back to Florida. The couple had some turbulent times moving back to Florida and were stranded in a hotel room in Laramie, WY for two whole weeks due to vehicle troubles. When the returned to Florida their lives flourished. They took up being chicken tenders again. Emily got a wonderful new job with a great company. Gemini continued being an amazing stay at home dad. In Christmas of 2021 Gemini proposed and they began to think about when to have their wedding. So here they are 5 vehicles later and 6 moves later, with 1 toddler, 2 dogs, 2 cats, infinite chickens, and all the love.
