Presque Isle State Park
Located just 4-miles from Erie's downtown, Presque Isle State Park is an ideal place for a summer drive, hike or bike ride. The state park has 13 beaches (our favorite is beach 6), 21-miles of recreational trails, and one of the best sunsets you'll see! It's a great place to spend an extra day in Erie (and it's free!)
Waldameer & Water World
An Erie staple since 1896, Waldameer is a retro amusement park located just down the road from Presque Isle State Park. Whether you enjoy rides or not, the park has a way of making you feel like a kid again. With free general admission, it is a great place to take a stroll, eat a funnel cake, and people watch.
Sara's Restaurant
Located at the entrance to Presque Isle State Park, Sara's is a great place to grab a milkshake or Smith's hotdog on your way to the beach!
Erie Art Museum
The Erie Art Museum is located right in the heart of downtown Erie. The collection holds a mix of local and regional art, as well as a few pieces by world renowned artists. The museum is strung together from 5 different buildings, with construction dates ranging from 1837 to 2010, making the walk through the museum a journey through history itself!
Downtown Erie
Take a stroll down State Street in downtown Erie! Here you could stop at the fountain in Perry Square, pop into the local Food Hall, grab a cup of coffee, or do some shopping along the main drag.

Craving some ice cream, but also need your car washed? Well, Denny's is the place for you! Enjoy their famous Blue Moon ice cream right next to their local car wash.
