We plan to be there Wednesday 6/1/22 to Tuesday 6/7/22, but please come and go whenever you want!
TO ENTER -Passport -E-Ticket. However, do you need a negative COVID test re-enter the US regardless of vaccination status. The hotel offers testing on-site. Upon checking in, the hotel will arrange an appointment time for you 24 hours prior to your departure. Note that you will likely wait in line for testing, even with an appointment time. Updates re. infection rates, current protocols, etc. are available on the Dominican Republic Embassy website: https://do.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/covid-19-information/ Entry and Re-Entry information is also available here: https://www.godominicanrepublic.com/newsroom/coronavirus/
It's next door - literally. They share a fence. It takes less than 2 minutes to cross the sand from one to the other.
Yes and yes! If you require a wheelchair-accessible room, just let the travel agents know when you book your room. The agent should also include that information in your airport pickup/drop-off reservation. Deplaning is NOT wheelchair accessible (you exit the plane via stairs onto the tarmac), but flight staff will be available to assist.
An air-conditioned coach bus will be available to transport guests from the Riu Palace Punta Cana to the venue. Guests should meet the driver in the lobby of the Riu Palace by 4:15pm. A bus will *not* be providing return transportation. Guests are encouraged to take the short but scenic 90-second walk across the sand back to the hotel, but complimentary cabs will also be available for anyone requiring extra assistance.
If you have dietary restrictions and have not notified us already, please let us (Angelica) know ASAP!
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, the wedding and reception will be adults-only. All other weekend events will be kid-friendly.
We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation to the wedding.

Go for it. There will be a wooden walkway to the beach ceremony (though the chairs themselves do sit on the sand). The cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing will be held on solid surfaces.
We will be hosting a Welcome Party on Friday, and a post-wedding brunch on Sunday morning. Both events will be at the hotel, and both events will be kid- and grandparent/babysitter-friendly. Details TBD. We will also host a Sunset Boat Party on Thursday, June 2. All wedding guests are invited, as well as kids/grandparents/babysitters/travel buddies. See "Schedule" and "Boat Party RSVP" tabs for more info.

The hotel is a 25-30 minute drive from the airport (PUJ). The hotel provides a shuttle to and from the airport, so renting a car isn't necessary or advisable (driving in the Dominican is an extreme sport). Alternatively, taxis are available and cash-only. USD is accepted. Uber/Lyft is not prevalent. The hotel is all-inclusive. Cash tipping is not mandatory, but it is very much appreciated. Power adapters aren't needed. The water is filtered, so tap water, ice cubes, and produce are safe to consume at Kukua and the hotel restaurants (though maybe not the hotel rooms).
Obviously.
