Fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, yard games, fires, volleyball. We will also be renting a boat for the entire week with a tube and wakeboard.
Update: per company we are renting the boat from, they are registered with Virginia’s Department of Game and Island Fisheries and follow their procedures so we do not need a license. Yes, in the state of Virginia a boating license is required regardless of age. If you have a NASBLA certificate from another state, you do not need to complete another course, but make sure you bring it with you. Please see link for additional information and to find a free course to get your license. https://dwr.virginia.gov/boating/education/requirement/
$65/night/adult. This includes your stay and boat/tube & wakeboard rental.
Please have your money to us by April 15th. Venmo:Heather-Geiman
Most family will have their own rooms as they are staying the longest. Friends staying 4 nights will be sharing a bedroom with 2 queen beds. Friends just staying Saturday will be crashing on couches and air mattresses.
With the length of stay being longer than most weddings, we would like the meals to be split between everyone. We will pass around a spreadsheet for groups to sign up so we don’t duplicate meals.
We are providing alcohol for the wedding, but please bring your own for the rest of the week. Please bring your coolers too as there is limited fridge space. There is a Food Lion and an ABC store 20 minutes away.
Please bring coolers for your alcohol, air mattress, bedding for the air mattress, set of queen sheets if you have an extra set as linens aren’t provided, beach and bath towels, toys (floats, kayaks, fishing gear, games, etc.), and your dancing shoes.
No, please do not bring any pets on the property.
