Megan was in her Junior year at the University of Montana-Western in Dillon. Colter was working in the oilfield in North Dakota. Our mutual friends were dating and gave us each other's phone numbers. Both were hesitant at first, but Colter reached out and messaged first. They communicated for a week until Colter came home. The two met and decided to see where it goes. Once Megan graduated, she moved back to Glendive and they continued to date long distance. Over the next few years, they went back and forth between Dillon and Glendive/North Dakota. In November of 2020, they found out they were expecting a baby boy. The two because a trio in July 2021 when Lincoln Oliver was born. Colter had plans to propose at the hospital, but decided to wait until Christmas Day. Ten years in the making, but it has been worth it. We are excited to see what the future holds for our family.
