New Travel Requirement for Europe in 2027

Starting in late 2026, travelers from visa-exempt countries will need to register online through ETIAS. ETIAS is an entry requirement similar to ones already in place in the United States (ESTA), Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. It will costs about €20, and it will be valid for three years. The start date has been pushed back a few times already, so it’s possible it could change again. We’ll do our best to stay informed and update this page if anything new comes up.
