How do we get to Dallas?

Answer

The Rao's live 7 miles (10 min) from DFW Airport, so we recommend flying in there. If you're a Southwest loyalist, you might consider flying into Dallas-Love Field Airport instead :)

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved for our guests. Please see the "Hotel & Travel" page for more details and additional recommendations on local hotels, all within a 10-minute drive from the Rao family home.

Should we bring a gift?

While your presence is more than enough, if you would like to gift us anything, please take a look at our cash fund on the "Registry" tab. We kindly request no boxed gifts!

What should we wear?

Answer

Please refer to your RSVP for specific details, and note the following for the Gurdwara: Please avoid wearing red, white or black. Traditional lehengas, saris, kurta/pajama, or semi-formal dress/shirt and tie are all great. Head coverings will be provided for the ceremony and shoes will not be allowed inside the hall.

Is there parking?

Yes, parking is free and available at the venue.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Dallas can get chilly this time of year, between 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit, so we recommend looking at the weather forecast beforehand and carrying a light jacket if you tend to get cold.
