(If you wish to extend your stay, the same rate applies for the 3 days prior and 3 days after these dates.) - Book by June 5 - How to reserve a room in the block: call 760-944-0260 & mention Schaaf/Grootenhuis Wedding Group - Free parking - Perks: Small pool! - Vibe: Motel-style accommodations. - Location: Encinitas is definitely one of our favorite places to hang out and this hotel is only an 11 minute walk to our favorite brewery/taphouse in all of San Diego (Modern Times' Far West Lounge) and only a few minutes more to our favorite restaurant (The Taco Stand)! Keep in mind, however, that Encinitas is about 15 minutes north of Del Mar and Viewpoint, our venue, by car. If you will be sticking around for a while and want to explore the area, you may want to rent a car or prepare to utilize Lyft and Uber here.

Since this hotel is also in a business park, we recommend renting a car or preparing to utilize Uber or Lyft frequently at this hotel due to the nature of its location a few miles from the coast and the attractions of Del Mar and Solana Beach.

Solana Beach Train Station - Amtrak

For those traveling from OC, Los Angeles or further north, the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner stops at the Solana Beach Train Station. And for you San Diegans, the Coaster has frequent service to this station too! The Solana Beach train station is a short 5 minute Uber ride to Viewpoint.
