Alex and I grew up together in Anderson Township and went to middle school together. For high school, Alex went to Anderson and I went to Turpin. We both ended up going to UC but still did not cross paths. I was working at the Pediatrics office and Alex was working at JB Hunt. One day Alex had some liquid courage and decided to snap chat me (I know very romantic). I replied and we went on for days talking and catching up. Finally, Alex asked me on a date but to my surprise, when he picked me up he had yet to think of what we would be doing on this date. He landed on taking me to East Fork. I was not expecting our first date to be in the woods where I had no cell service, but I trusted Alex. He took me to his favorite spot and we talked about anything and everything. From that point on my nights consisted of car rides with Alex and his baby (his car). The day after his birthday he took me to a place where he said he came to a lot in high school to think. The spot was downtown Cincinnati and overlooked the entire city. This is where he very nervously asked me to be his girlfriend and I eagerly said yes! As they always say, the rest was history.
