Caspersen Beach
Did you know? Venice, FL is the shark tooth capital of the world. Consider visiting Caspersen beach where you can walk the beach or bring along your FL sand shovel and start collecting! *Hint: look for anything black and shiny in the sand or piles of shells. Shark teeth retain their shine even when dry so it’s easier to spot them on dry land.
The Ringling
Did you know? Sarasota is known for being the former winter headquarters of the Ringling Bros Circus and the Barnum and Bailey Circus! When you visit the Ringling Museum you will get to experience the beautiful gardens and resident winter mansion home of John and Mable Ringling, an art museum, two different circus museums, and incredible views of Sarasota Bay! *The art and circus museums require paid entry but the grounds can be explored entirely free of charge!

Looking for some good barbecue with old Florida, jungle vibes? Well look no further than Snook Haven! Located on the Myakka River this laid back beer and barbecue joint also serves up kayaking, canoeing, boat tours and live music. *The original 1938 Tarzan movie was filmed at this location so we’re not kidding when we tell you to expect jungle vibes.
Fins At Sharky's
Fins was Shannon's first job when she moved to Venice and is also one of the ONLY beachfront restaurants in Venice. Located on the second floor above it's sister restaurant, Sharkey's, it boasts a sushi bar, expansive wine and cocktail list, incredible food, and the best sunset views in town! *Dinner reservations highly recommended
Café Evergreen Restaurant
Located in the very first Sarasota County Post Office and Bank, this hidden gem is all about food that is locally sourced and organic oriented. Cafe Evergreen offers fresh juices, probiotic beverages, organic beer and wine, amazing sandwiches, delicious salads and vegetarian options for days. There is something on the menu for everyone! *Highly recommend the Ahi tuna bowl
