Noodlehead
This is one of our all time favorites!! We always talk about trying new places but always end up back here whether it's date night, double dates, or with out of town guests. With a tightly curated menu, Noodlehead offers an elemental approach to the delightful street food of Thailand.
Strip District
The Strip, as it's called, is foodie heaven and as authentic as it is fun. Locals love it for its low, low prices and tremendous selections. The one-half square mile shopping district is chock full of ethnic grocers, produce stands, meat and fish markets and sidewalk vendors. Breathe deep because you won't want to escape the splendid aromas of fresh-roasted coffee or just-baked bread. Bordering Downtown, this neighborhood is pure Pittsburgh.
Mingo Creek County Park
Need some fresh air? This is a park I (sarah) grew up in, my family would spend countless hours picnicking, riding bikes, and chasing crayfish. It's the perfect place to take a deep breath look up and be reminded of the beauty that was created for us to simply enjoy.
