We met in the Navy back in 2018 when Sean showed up to his duty station, the USS Carl Vinson out of San Diego. Katherine had been onboard the ship for about 2 years when Sean arrived and eventually she became one of his supervisors (hehe). We hung out outside of work a few times before realizing there was a spark between us. On February 8th, 2020, after our first date at a Brazilian restaurant, we made it official and have been by each other's side since then. Our love story so far includes an 8-month deployment, living in 3 states, countless road trips (where Sean taught Katherine about sleeping in the car at truck stops), tons of game nights and unforgettable moments spent together. We can't wait to share the beginning of our next chapter with you all!

Sean had purchased the ring while Katherine was on vacation and was waiting for the right moment to pop the question. Unfortunately for him, one of our cats, Nova, had other plans. Katherine got home from work on a Tuesday to find a ring box in the middle of the kitchen floor. Turns out, Sean had hid the ring box under the couch, but not far enough under to be out of Nova's reach. Katherine put the box on the counter (without peeking!!) and when Sean got home from work, he got on one knee and proposed!
