Jason and Ana matched on an online dating app and after a few weeks of puns, dad jokes (on Jason's part) and general discussions which certainly included Star Wars, they had their first date. They spent the evening having wonderful conversations and coffee. Jason then invited Ana to Knight Watch Games (one of his favorite places in San Antonio) where they spent the rest of the night playing board games and perusing the retail aisles. Jason's birthday happened to be the very next day so Ana was one of the first to wish him a Happy Birthday since the date ran into midnight, still at the gaming shop. The very next day, Ana sent Jason birthday cookies to the very same shop where he said he'd be. The rest as they say, is history!
Our wedding date holds a lot of meaning for us; This is the date we 'officially' started dating and two years later, the date [Jason] proposed. Consolidating the celebratory dates will also (hopefully) help avoid any missed anniversaries in the future. :) We have opted to proceed with an intimate ceremony. While this was a very difficult decision for us to make, we had to take the pandemic into consideration and we believe this decision will also help us jumpstart our lives together. While we hope to execute a much more lavish celebration in the future, we are thankful for all of the blessings and well-wishes from our exceptional family and friends.
