COVID-19 Requirements for New Orleans
The City of New Orleans issued an indoor mask mandate. Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a face mask upon entering and while indoors. Face masks can be removed while eating and drinking.
Anyone 12 years of age and older is required to provide proof of at least one dose of an approved COVID vaccine or a negative PCR test within 72 hours to access indoor establishments (restaurants, bars, event venues, etc.).
Everyone will need to show proof of one of the following upon arrival:
- Vaccination with a physical vaccine card, a photo or photocopy of their vaccine card (front & back) This will be checked along with a matching photo ID.
- Physical or electronic test results from a PCR COVID-19 test indicating negative results within the last 72 hours. This will be checked along with a matching photo ID. Antigen tests will not be accepted.
