They met in Negotiations class - technically, right before class - at LSUS. He always caught her eye but at this particular moment, he made her laugh and they haven’t stopped smiling since. After finding each other on Instagram and playing “like” tag on photos, he found the nerve to ask her out on a date, and the rest is history.

On their 4th anniversary, he texted her that he would be home late. He didn't say why, but she didn't think anything of it since he has been working late for the holidays. When he came home, he told her to close her eyes. Again, she didn't think anything of it besides him probably trying to sneak in Christmas gifts. He then told her to open her eyes and he's down on one knee. He begins to tell her how much he loves her, that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her and that he couldn't wait another second to ask. In her disbelief and immediate shock, she began to cry tears of joy and of course she said, "yes!" It was absolutely perfect. No frills or anything extravagant. Just the two of them, in their new home.
