Welcome to our love story 💚

We were introduced at a mutual friend's house as he was walking in from work. We talked and laughed most of that night. For the next few months we spent time with each other when we could. It wasn't easy with him being a truck driver and me being a single mother and working full time, we definitely had the odds stacked against us. Most people would have thrown in the towel and called it quits. However, it was something special about our connection and we kept finding our way back to one another. As time went on we found ourselves spending a-lot more time together and it was finally time to meet each other's families. Meeting each other's families sealed the deal and made it more evident that we were truly meant to be. In the months that we were getting to know one another not only did we fall in love we became best friends and on December 31, 2018 we made it official and have been inseparable ever since.

Saturday September 23, 2022 family and friends gathered together to celebrate Mercedes's birthday. The couple planned on surprising everyone with the news that they were expecting a baby girl in March but little did Mercedes know Gearld had other plans. As everyone was congratulating the couple on the exciting news of the new addition to the family, Mercedes turned to find Gearld on one knee about to ask the most important question of his life, and the answer was a resounding "yes". It was a moment that encapsulated the essence of their enduring love.
