Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 15, 2024 on our website. If you have any trouble, feel free to contact us directly.

Question

Why is our Jewish wedding on a Sunday and not Saturday?

Answer

Jewish weddings traditionally do not occur on Saturdays due to the observance of the Sabbath (Shabbat), a day of rest and religious activity in Judaism. The Sabbath begins at sundown on Friday and ends at nightfall on Saturday. During this time, work is prohibited according to Jewish law, and this includes performing weddings. The restrictions on work are meant to ensure that the Sabbath is a day dedicated to rest, prayer, and family time. Organizing and conducting a wedding involves activities considered as work, such as writing, cooking, and using electricity, which are not permitted on the Sabbath.

OPEN BAR?

Answer

Absolutely! We're thrilled to provide an open bar at our wedding. Please enjoy the complimentary open bar responsibly. Any inappropriate behavior or excessive drinking will not be tolerated. The open bar has premium liquors and the bartenders will make cocktails. Because of liquor regulations, anyone wanting a "shot", please advise the bartender that you want the drink "on the rocks". For example, "a Grey Goose Vodka on the rocks". Let's make this a joyous celebration filled with love and respect for one another. Cheers to a memorable evening!

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors with air conditioning.
