We first met in high school theater class, where Colton’s playful “Howdy!” and genuine kindness immediately caught my heart. That simple handshake was the beginning of a friendship filled with laughter, shared dreams, and quiet moments that slowly blossomed into a love deeper than we ever expected. From the very start, we knew that our relationship was something special, but we also knew it wouldn’t always be easy. Over the years, God has been at the center of our journey, guiding us through every joy and challenge. His love has been our anchor, helping us stay grounded when life felt uncertain and giving us strength when we faced obstacles. Our faith has shaped how we love and support each other every day. I’ve learned to bring calm and order to Colton’s life, helping him stay organized and focused, while he’s gently pushed me to step outside my comfort zone, encouraging me to open my heart, meet new people, and grow in confidence. Together, we’ve become better versions of ourselves—not just for each other, but through God’s grace. After eight wonderful years together, Colton proposed during a family cruise—a quiet, intimate moment that felt like the perfect beginning to the next chapter of our lives.
