Information about the Venue

Answer

Kinsey Event Warehouse is an electrical warehouse turned event space in Oakdale, PA. This means that weather will have an impact on the day. Please be aware that the floors are concrete, and the walls are uninsulated. The building is semi-heated, but there is still a possibility of snow in March. A sweater, jacket, or an outfit with sleeves is recommended. I will be updating this section based on the weather closer to the wedding day. -Sam

Regarding food...

Answer

The food will be served in a buffet style, so no need to designate who is eating what. If your kids want a full plate, go for it! If not, there are also a number of simple sides (potatoes, two kinds of pasta, and bread) that catering will be providing extras of. Please designate any food allergies on your invitations, or give Sam/Jake a text.

Is there a wedding party?

Answer

Nope! Jake and Sam each have a witness that will be signing the marriage license, but have opted to not have any bridesmaids or groomsmen.

Is the ceremony in the same place as the reception?

Answer

Sure is! Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all in the same place. A shuttle will be provided before the ceremony (times listed under the “Schedule” tab) and after the reception if you are staying within the hotel block.

Why are the invitations so hard to read?

Sorry. They looked much brighter on the computer! Blame Sam for not ordering proofs.
